Our Vision
To be the model development organization that combines a global outlook with local experience in building community prosperity
Enterprise for Development International (EfDI) is a non-governmental organization registered in Nigeria as a Company limited by guarantee. EfDI evolved from the Nigeria country program of TechnoServe Inc., an international development organization with headquarters in the United states of America and with operations in Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
Prior to ceding its portfolio to EfDI in 1999, Technoserve had operated in Nigeria for ten years. During this period, Technoserve emerged as a front line development institution with primary interest in supporting grassroot organizations to promote programs of sustainable livelihood. EfDI has aggregated this decade long experience into its continuing work in various parts of Nigeria and West Africa
Our Mission
EfDI’s mission is to build community capacities for wealth creation among enterprising poor people and promote su stainable livelihoods in marginal and vulnerable populations”. The mission is achieved through focused provision of technical and managerial support, improved credit access and market link ages that enhance the profitability of small businesses to achieve a multiplier effect on community well being
Our Strategy
EfDI works as a direct service provider and in creative partnerships with other organizations. Building on the work of its predecessor, EfDI uses the “wholesaling strategy” to strengthen carefully chosen partner organizations towards the realization of its program objectives. The wholesaling strategy emphasizes the provision of targeted institution-building support to selected organizations to strengthen their role as service providers. These organization s are positioned to replicate this community development model in several other areas that EfDI might not be able to reach, thereby leveraging a larger – scale impact in the delivery of assistance.
Our Process

Discover
Our first engagement is to discover your need through analysis of environment, challenges and vision

Define
We then proceed to colaboratively define what the opportunities and posisbilities are available within the exisiting constraint
03.
Design
After the definition, we then design in an agile fashion prototype solution to the identified challenge or opportunities
04.
Develop
Once a final prototype is agreed upon, we proceed to full scale development of the project
